Tape in Hair Extensions are an extension of your natural hair and in most cases, you can do almost anything with your new tape in hair extensions that you would normally do with your natural hair.

What Can I Do With Tape In Hair Extensions?

• Shampoo - Yes, you can shampoo your tape in hair extensions.  We recommend using a sulfate free shampoo to maintain your tape in hair extensions.
• Condition - Yes, you can use conditioner on that tape in hair extension hair, but not the tab.
• Styling Products - Yes, you can use most styling products with your tape in hair extensions.  Avoid using alcohol, or oil-based styling products on the tape in hair extensions tape tab.
• Curling Iron - Yes, you can use curling irons on your tape in hair extensions, making sure the heat setting is not hotter than 200 degrees Fahrenheit. 
• Flat Iron - Yes, you can use flat irons on your tape in hair extensions, making sure the heat setting is not hotter than 200 degrees Fahrenheit. 
• Swim - Yes, you can swim with your tape in hair extensions.  A low braid is recommended for swimming.  
• Exercising - Yes, you can exercise with your tape in hair extensions.  A low braid is recommended during exercising and other activities alike.

What Can I NOT Do With Tape in Hair Extensions?

• Apply heat directly to the tape in hair extensions tape tab.
• High ponytails are not recommended for tape in hair extensions
• High Heat Curling Irons above 200 degrees Fahrenheit is not recommended with tape in hair extensions
• High Heat flat irons above 200 degrees Fahrenheit is not recommended with tape in hair extensions.
